The five week terms outlined below may be taken separately as examination preparation courses or can be taken as an academic year of 25 weeks.
These examination courses run per five week term or per academic year of 25 weeks and are aimed at preparing students for the Academic Examation of the IELTS or the General Examination of the Cambridge First.
Examination Coures include:
- 100 hours of tuition per term
- 20 hours per week
- 15 hours of classes in small group per week from 9.30-13.00 Monday to Friday
- 25 hours of small group specific examination preparation sessions in the afternoons per term
- Maximum number of students per class is 5
- 5 week term

Where the IELTS Preparation Course 5 & 25 weeks will be taught in Ennis?
Our school Prize English is located in the small city of Ennis, at only 20 minutes drive from Shannon airport and 30 minutes from the stunning Moher cliffs.
The school offers a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, due to its modest size and the uncongested area in which it is located.
It was established 20 years ago and is officially recognized by the Irish Education Authority.
You can take a general English course or a Business English course if you prefer, as well as doing one of our intensive exam preparation courses.
We are particularly proud of our Family English programme which involves the perfect learning conditions for each member of the family from the youngest child to the adult parents.
Everybody does their main language course content in a compatible morning timetable, and in the afternoons the whole family takes part in our social and cultural programme, where they get a privileged insight into Irish life and culture, and where they have great fun taking part in our physical and intellectual tasks.
The family has an ideal opportunity to make new friends with others from many different countries, using English as the language of communication.
We teach our students about Ireland, having them learn Irish dance, poetry, music and art. Our teachers are all qualified and experienced and they take part fully in all our activities making it a real English led immersion programme.

Conditions of the school
- The fees must be paid by 21 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
- All bank charges must be paid by the student.
- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway.
- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway.

- Any cancellation or change which affects the services contracted must be communicated to the school in writing. On making the reservation of the course the student has agreed to the cancellation and refund policy.
