Our summer school at University College Dublin (UCD) is located in Belfield, a 132-hectare campus 4 km south of downtown Dublin.
This campus is a complex with attractive landscapes of modern architectural buildings, which houses most of the colleges and schools of the University, as well as its student residences and numerous sports and leisure facilities.
For more than 150 years, UCD has produced graduates of notable distinction, including famous surgeons, architects, businessmen and five of Ireland's Prime Ministers. Perhaps the best known of all its graduates is the writer James Joyce, who completed his undergraduate degree at the University in 1902.
