Teachers tend not to think of themselves as leaders but increasingly they are having to play a leadership role in the lives of their pupils and students. In the words of John Adams “A teacher affects eternity: no-one can tell where the
influence stops. The word education is from the Latin educare: “the process of drawing out the latent talents of the individual”.
Leadership is exactly the same process and involves the same skill set and personal attributes.
This course will draw out your own leadership qualities and therefore enable you to be all the more effective as a teacher.
This course also provides a large amount of English practice throughout.

Where the LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR TEACHERS will be taught in Canterbury?
Our partner school Prize English School Pilgrims in Canterbury, has two centres, one of them in a historic Medieval building in the centre of the city, which is one of the oldest buildings used for English language teaching in the UK, although the interior is completely modernised with the latest technology in language teaching.
The other centre uses the facilities of the University of Kent and is surrounded by splendid gardens and is only 20 minutes walking distance from the centre of the city. In the University of Kent there is access to wonderful sports facilities, as well as cinema, theatre, a library, shops, banks and chemists etc.
The work ethic of the school is that through the strengthening of learning confidence of each and every pupil who takes part in our specialist courses, he or she will achieve his objectives with our help.

- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway..
