This course aims to give teachers and managers the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed in positions of educational leadership.

Many teachers find themselves in management or leadership positions and are expected to succeed without any training or support. This course aims to give teachers and managers the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed as academic managers. The

course will strengthen participants’ knowledge of educational leadership, expand on their range of leadership competencies, skills and behaviours and extend participants understanding of leadership practices and issues.

In addition, participants will develop their language skills and be more confident using English in management and leadership 

This course is for:

• Academic Managers e.g. Directors of Studies, Assistant Directors of Studies, Heads of Schools, Heads of Department, Subject Leaders, Year, Team and Mentor group leaders etc.

• Experienced teachers who aspire to be a leader or manager in a language school or language department

• Practising teachers who would like to learn more about management and leadership and might consider a leadership role in the future.

• Participants with an upper-intermediate (B2) language level or above

- The fees must be paid by 21 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.

- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway. .

- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway..
