Semi-intensive English course at Ramsgate, 20 hours per week combining the general English course of 15 hours per week + 5 hours of elective classes.
Students can choose from a variety of electives including: Business English, IELTS Preparation, English for Academic Purposes, or one of the Skills Development Subjects: Listening, Pronunciation, Speaking, or Writing.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. (times may be different during July and August).
Our elective classes allow students to focus their studies on specific areas of the English language to achieve their own personal goals.

Our Prize English school in Ramsgate, has been teaching students from all over the world since 1971, with its almost 50 years of history and an impeccable track record, is one of the longest-running private schools in this sector of teaching English in the UK.
We offer several general English courses, exam preparation, study and work, throughout the year and other more specific courses in the summer season in various centers in the same area that we only use in summer.
Many of our students come attracted by our location, the Victorian architecture of Ramsgate, its fine sandy beaches and its typical Fish & Chips dishes, with which they want to enjoy the most traditional England.
The school occupies 3 historic buildings in the center of Ramsgate, just 10 minutes walk from the beach or the most commercial streets of the city.
On the ground floor of one of the buildings is The Churchill Tavern, which is our own pub/restaurant very popular with locals and our students who meet their friends in the afternoons to enjoy their leisure hours with talks, music, activities etc. In addition to our own Pub, we have a Clubroom where students meet every afternoon to talk about current affairs, socialize and practice their English with other classmates.
We have the latest technology in teaching English, interactive whiteboards, computers, and a great team of professionals with solid experience that ensures that students have a pleasant stay and make the most of their English course at Ramsgate.
Each week the teachers indicate what the students objectives are and give them a study plan for that week, at the end of the week progress is evaluated and it is determined if they are ready to change to a higher level.
We are accredited for teaching English by the most prestigious organizations, and together with our staff who do everything possible to offer the highest quality education with a focus on small group oral communication, makes our students get the most out of it. to their stay and feel like if they are at home.

Conditions of the school
- The fees must be paid by 14 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
- All bank charges must be paid by the student.
- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway. .
- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway..
