English and Surfing in Donegal
This special English course in Donegal combines 20 lessons of general English per week with communicative and dynamic activities designed to improve vocabulary, grammar and oral expression and comprehension as well as written work, with 5 afternoons of horse-riding in the beautiful countryside of Donegal. The surfng is programmed for 2 hour sessions every afternoon and is led by fully qualified instructors. The classes are taught in small groups to ensure maximum personal attention to help you master the art of surfing. There are many types of surf boards available for every taste.
Social and cultural activities are provided every afternoon and evening. Activities in the programme include: water sports, bowling, cinema, barbecue, competitions such as trivial pursuit, art workshops, musical sessions, talent shows, treasure hunts,…
There is a full day excursion every Saturday to a popular destination or heritage site. Places we go are for example: Cliffs of Slieve League and Donegal town, the wall and town of Derry, the tomb of Queen Meabh etc.
The course is residential, with accommodation in family homes or Residence near the school. Individual room in families and Shared room in Residence, and full board.

Where the English and Surfing will be taught in Donegal?
Our school in Donegal is located in the town of Bundoran, know as the surfing capital of Ireland.
The school has 6 classrooms and was founded in 1989 and since then has developped a reputation for having such a welcoming and friendly feel about it, as well as for the fun and excitement offered by the courses and by the activities that our students do.
We offer many different courses for adults and for young learners so we are an excellent choice for families who wish to do courses at the same time.
Our School offers quality English language tuition in a friendly and welcoming environment. Set in a Georgian building overlooking the west coast of Ireland on the wild Atlantic way, we offer a warm and personal stay to all our clients and pride ourselves on a high percentage of repeat customers.
The adult course range includes General english, English and Surfing, English and Horse Riding and exam preparation for adults.
Our Junior courses are extremely popular, given our unique location and abundance of local attractions. There is nothing better than being able to mix education with good fun meaning our English and Activity courses are always a favourite.

Conditions of the school
- The fees must be paid by 28 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
- All bank charges must be paid by the student.
- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway.
- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway.
