Summer English course for children from 9-18 years old in Connemara, course is 20 lessons per week in class. Focus is on General English with an emphasis on Communicative Activities conducted in an enjoyable way to ensure a positive and maximum learning experience.
The children are taught in different groups according to age and level.
The youngest group are taught through play and fun activities. The older children learn through communicative and stimulating activities designed to get them involved with enthusiam so that they learn to express themselves in the target language with confidence.
The full activity programme of 15 hours per week ensures maximum opportunity for the young learners to put their knowledge into practice. Activities include 2 per week of Adventure which are mainly water sports and 3 general topics: cookery, dance, fishing, walks, museum visits etc.
The students make friends with others from other countries and gain valuable cultural experience as well as learning English.
The parents can be assured that while they are doing their own course or while they are exploring this part of Ireland, their children are in excellent hands.

Where the Summer course for young learners (9-18 years) with activities will be taught in Connemara?
Our school in Connemara is located in the impressive country area next to the Connemara National Park and Diamond Mountains, beside the sea and near the village of Letterfrack, in the lovely region of Galway.
This is a family run school, and we specialize in English for children and families, using a range of modern didactic practices.
The groups are of a reduced size, maximum 12, and we take advantage of the environment around us to do many practical activities in which the students are immersed in natural English.
We teach our students about Ireland, having them learn Irish dance, poetry, music and art.
The calm and friendly environment is ideal for young learners as young as 3 and since our students are accommodated in the village, they get to know the local people and really experience life and age old traditions in this quaint part of Europe. In the afternoons and evenings, students of all ages take part in our sports and cultural activity programme, including pony-riding, canoeing, dancing and having barbecue parties.
Our teachers are all qualified and experienced and they take part fully in all our activities making it a real English led immersion programme.

Conditions of the school
- The fees must be paid by 14 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
- All bank charges must be paid by the student.
- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway.
- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Any cancellation or change which affects the services contracted must be communicated to the school in writing. On making the reservation of the course the student has agreed to the cancellation and refund policy.
