This 22.5 hour course in Canterbury is suitable for non native teachers who are teaching English to their pupils in Primary or Secondary.
The course focusses on contemporary British culture, with topics such as Everyday life in the UK, class in the UK, the development of UK towns and cities, stereotypes, multiculturalism, British humour... We receive visits from specialists from different UK sectors who share their experiences with us.

As well as the 22.5 hours in class per week, participants have the opportunity of attending an additional 10 hours of workshops, seminars and activities from a range of many topics such as pronunciation techniques, the use of new technologies, Yoga, Tai Chi, storytelling, drama techniques, British culture, creative writing, or Salsa.
Our partner school Prize English School Pilgrims in Canterbury, has two centres, one of them in a historic Medieval building in the centre of the city, which is one of the oldest buildings used for English language teaching in the UK, although the interior is completely modernised with the latest technology in language teaching.
The other centre uses the facilities of the University of Kent and is surrounded by splendid gardens and is only 20 minutes walking distance from the centre of the city. In the University of Kent there is access to wonderful sports facilities, as well as cinema, theatre, a library, shops, banks and chemists etc.

- The fees must be paid by 21 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
