GP Vanier Secondary School has approximately 1,100 students.

It is located adjacent to the Comox Valley Athletics Centre, the Comox Valley Regional Sports Centre, which includes a swimming pool, two ice rinks, an outdoor artificial turf and a weight room.

GP Vanier School is surrounded by farm fields and the Comox Valley Fairgrounds, providing an excellent learning environment and a picturesque experience for international students.

All academic courses leading to a BC graduation certificate are offered at G.P. Vanier.

The GP Vanier Aspire to Action program is a unique opportunity for highly motivated seniors to meet traditional academic requirements in an integrated degree program that combines academics with experiential learning in the community.

The program takes place during the second semester and is open to all students in grades 11 and 12.
