Au Pair and Study Course 16 and 25 weeks in Bray
Our demi au pair programme in Bray is especially for young women who wish to improve their level of a language in a cost effective way. They do a 20 hour per week General English course in the language school in Bray in the mornings, and stay in a family home in or around Bray free of charge in return for helping to look after the children in the family home.
The person is given a single room in the family house and recives full board, with all meals included whilst in the house. There is also a small weekly payment for the duties that the person does in the house. Duties include looking after the children, by helping them get ready for school or nursery, taking them to local schools or nurseries, helping them at mealtimes, doing some light housework such as laundry, tidying or dishes. The details of this vary from family to family and it will be discussed prior to the formalisation of any placement. The young women who wish to apply for this programme should be between 20 and 30 years old with some experience in childcare.
Our au pair study programme is for a minimum period of 16 weeks.
PLACEMENT IN A FAMILY- procedure
1. On receipt of your request, we relay this request to our Ireland au pair placement office.
2. Once the Irish office has assigned a provisional family for you, we send your file with all the relevant information and we indicate the day and time that the family wish to contact you by telephone.
3. After the conversation has occured between the young woman and the family, the two parties must confirm their mutual acceptance. SIf one of the parties does not accept, we will look for another family.
4. You must not reserve a flight or other tickets until the family placement process is complete.
5. You will receive details of your host family in writing and at this point it is recommendable to book your journey.
When you have your flight details, you must forward them to the host family, so that they can arrange to meet you at the airport or bus or train station on the day of arrival.

The fee for placement in a family for a 16 week period is 450 €
The price includes return airport transfers from Dublin airport.

Our Prize English School ATC in Bray, is situated next to the sea, on the Promenade, a beautiful spot in this lovely Irish town.
The school has 20 modern classrooms, which are well-equipped with the latest technology such as Digital Boards, and which boast fantastic views of the sea.
There is a computer lab with 25 terminals all connected to internet which students can use free of charge.
There is also a study room where students can do homework tasks or even get help from one of our standby teachers. What’s more our students can enjoy the school garden to meet others and have a coffee or cool drink.
The school offers an excellent cultural and social programme which includes organised day trips, and we fully recommend that our students get involved to gain maximum benefit from their contact with other students and our teachers, to put into practice the language that they have learned in class.

Conditions of the school
- The fees must be paid by 28 days before the start date of the course in order to finalise your inscription and to be assured of your place on the course and in the accommodation.
- All bank charges must be paid by the student.
- There is no reimbursement of the course fees or of any other service contracted, in the case cancellation of the course by the student once the course is underway.
- There is no refund for late arrival, absence or early departure due to transport problems or for any other reason once the course is underway.

- Any cancellation or change which affects the services contracted must be communicated to the school in writing. On making the reservation of the course the student has agreed to the cancellation and refund policy.

escuela pensada para alumnos extranjeros, muchas horas trabajando con el compañero, que habla el mismo inglés o peor que tú poca incidencia en la corrección algunos profesores organizaban las clases sobre la marcha, poca preparación previa personal muy amable eso sí, una gran experiencia!!!

La manera de decidir el nivel correspondiente n me gusto ya que me pusieron en un nivel básico y me resulto aburrido tanto a nivel gramatical como de lectura, escritura y lenguaje. En mi caso no ha resutado nada satisfactorio el curso. Algunas clases repetían los mismo s temas, o se dedicaban a otros temas diferentes a los que tocaban.
